• Productivity that is not based on life’s mission is an organized waste of time

  • How do people perceive me

Sometimes people think “who does she think she is?”, When see me actively pursuing my goals, taking the initiative or throwing a bold statement. If I say so, I know what is it I am saying. But for many it is just a statement. For me, it is just the tip of the iceberg. For the whole work around this statement is hidden from the eyes of people under the water. The tip of the ice is not the iceberg, the mass under the water is. And you should be careful not to assume thinking that what you see it is all it is. You know what happened with those who assumed 🤫

  • Writing isn’t about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid, or making friends. In the end, it’s about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life, as well.

    Stephen King, On Writing
  • If you are afraid of failing, then you are not serious about succeeding. (Dr. Sunday Adelaja – The Mighty Formula)

  • Money, money, money, money!

I am sick of hearing “PASSIVE INCOME” and “GETTING RICH NOW” from every corner.
    Money, money, money, money!

People are worshiping Mammon every single day of their lives by chasing money. Millions of YouTube videos are about:
    – making a YouTube channel to earn money
    – create digital products to earn money
    – making socials to earn money
    – writing books to make money
    – even shaking your a$$ to earn money
    – doing this, making that..
Yes, money is responsible for the exchange of goods and services. BUT we can’t build our lives around getting goods. What about building our lives around the Calling! The Essential Reason We Are ALIVE?

It was no different in the times of Jesus when he was telling his disciples not to chase money, but to seek the Kingdom of God and its righteousness first.

Every single human being is called to do so. We did not come to this earth to consume only. There is no such thing in nature as just being a consumer only. All the world lives in harmony – a cycle of taking and giving, sawing and ripping. Every single creature takes part in the chain of life! Only humans consume unstopably. Unapologetically. Like crazy. More, more, and more. A never-satisfied hunger for goods, for money, power, taking everything that can be taken.

We are not called to live this way! We were not created for this. The human being is created in the image of GOD. The nature of God is to build, give, and create!

We are built to produce! But not only goods for uncontrollable consumption. We can invent, bring order, make things beautiful around us, communicate, share, give, love.

What am I producing today? Am I just building nets to get people caught in to extract some money from them? Or do I build the Kingdom of God on earth?

Christians know that they are following Christ for his teaching. However, Christians, despite being named after Christ, disregard his main value: the Kingdom of God here on earth and its righteousness.

We have to bring the Kingdom of God to everything we do. Not to bring the church. Not to bring religion. Not to bring another system of oppression. But to make things right!

Why can’t Christians do it these days? Because their main concern is money. Money for “noble” things, of course, because we all know that Christians maintain the “righteous” brand. What kind of righteousness is that? Is this righteousness to help the poor, the one in need, the orphan, the destitute, the sick? Or is it the pretended righteousness that is like a suit that you can take off when the discussion is about money?

Because when it is about money, it is a totally different story. When it is about money, the so-called righteous fellow has the total right to mislead, abuse, pretend to be a servant, thinking of his benefit while chasing his own income?

What happened to Christ’s statement: Don’t think of what you should eat and drink because the pagans are worried about those things? Seek first the Kingdom of God? First, his order in all things? Bring order to everything you can? Teach?

Create goods and services that matter..
    Make difference..
    Make impact..

All these are imprinted on the back of our minds. But then the “opportunity” presents itself on our way to righteousness, we choose to bypass it, while we are chasing our own interests.

For whom was this parable of a Good Samaritan?

The opportunity presented itself to three people and only one was able to prove the righteousness – the Samaritan.

Are we even close to the Samaritan? Are we anywhere near the person who expended his own goods to help another human being in trouble? Are we anywhere near the person who postponed his plans to do something for the other?

At this point, many of us may remember how they drifted away from this Samaritan standard at some point in their path following Christ. Someone’s kind intentions were not appreciated; someone’s were abused. I get that. Does this cancel the reason we decided to follow Christ? Does disappointment cancel that?

So many times, I myself was misunderstood, not appreciated, and my desire and attempt to help were abused. And so what? I have learned to understand who truly needs help, who doesn’t, who is sincere in their cry for assistance, and who is looking for an opportunity to get more for less at my expense. I am learning every day, so that I can keep moving on the path I have chosen.

Yes. It doesn’t always work the way we want. I am the first one to witness it. But that is ok. Jesus himself was misunderstood; his kindness was abused by the one from his closest circle. He was unappreciated. He kept moving and finding those who will value what He does for them.

That is why he was preaching about the Sower. He experienced that. He knew what it meant for His words to fall on deaf ears. He knew what it meant: people are consumed by mundane things and do not want to change anything.
And He kept sowing! To get the seed into good soil.
It takes time, effort, and countless unsuccessful attempts to build the right world around you.

When things are right, when the most important things in life are taken care of, the work brings results. It doesn’t happen the next day. So why do Christians chase the PASSIVE INCOME, the GET RICH TOMORROW ideas and techniques? Either it is in finances or in services they create, in the YouTube channel they develop, in books they write, in relationships they build? Chasing money is the problem. Trying to get rich now, to get money now, fast and easy, is the problem.

But, Kate! – You will say – You are charging for your services.

Yes, I do, but… 100 times below the value I give. I work my hours to create solutions that go beyond money. They extend to ETERNITY. They will live beyond my physical existence. I make people pay so that others can benefit from these solutions. The money comes as promised every single time. God never betrayed me. He did take care of all my needs.

It doesn’t mean I don’t need money. Money will not be enough to cover all the needs of mine, of my family, of the people and animals I take care of. That is normal. Even millionaires lack money. Because when you have more, your opportunities expand, and the implementation of many ideas requires money. The bigger the ideas, the bigger the money you need. It is OK to LACK money. If you don’t LACK money, you are most probably satisfied to be a couch potato. Because for you to do good things, you need money.

It does not start with chasing money. The Good things start with planning, vision, and building a future in your mind. This vision will bring opportunities to get money your way. Not the other way around. Let’s stop chasing money and return to our base. Kingdom first.

  • If you don’t influence on social media intentionally, you are gambling (like a slot machine addict)

  • People have the itch to become visible on social media, appreciated and respected as an influencer and a thought leader, although they were not even able to build their own personality and substantial product that can make a difference. This itch is a sign of a sick self-esteem. We have to be the light of the world to be put in the corner to light all of the room. If your light is not strong enough, its place will not be the main corner, because you haven’t built depth to be able to shine far enough.

  • I have noticed that writing and perfecting my written word gives me a huge sense of accomplishment for a day

  • No Jackpot in Social Media — Except One

A dozen lonely people sit in a row of slots and pull the lever of the slot machine over and over again, mesmerized by the information on monitors.

The brain is eagerly waiting for this information.

The brain knows that the probability of getting three strawberries in a row is very low.

The brain keeps analyzing every combination and gives the order to get a new piece of information.

The owner of the brain pulls the lever again.

The brain’s main and default function is to collect information to save, maintain, and improve our lives. To help us survive. Here, in front of the slot machine, it malfunctions. It was supposed to stop this activity as useless. But the hope of getting the information that is beneficial keeps it vigilant.

Even while I understood this malfunction, my own brain was already setting me up for the same game.

“Ok, Kate, you are going to roll this slot machine first thing in the morning,” I said to myself, opening my eyes after a night of rest, and smirked.

The thought was funny at first. Expecting that someone would stop and read my yesterday’s Facebook post and think with me brought sorrow. I felt like Harlequin, the fool entertaining without being understood.

Over 100 people have seen my post. If one were to read, one would react to my thoughts in some way. The brain malfunctions in front of the screen with Facebook content in the same way it does in front of the slot machine monitor. Users scroll, waiting for a big win. But what information are they waiting for here? Definitely not something that will stop them and invite them to think.

Thinking people are not sitting with the Facebook app open and waiting for a good, deep thought to enrich them with the next scroll. They wait for emotions. Scroll. No luck this time. Scroll again. Maybe, with the next scroll. One more and one more… the timeline is endless, so is the scrolling.

I am not a fan of any timeline anymore. Not Facebook, not YouTube reels, not any other. But I still try my luck when I post results of my thinking and learning process, with the expectation that someone will be interested in discussing it. Where? On Facebook? And the fact that I know that no thinking people would scroll the Facebook timeline and still wait to catch some with my post makes me no different from those people in the casino slot machine section.

I have successfully cut off the scrolling habit with a firm decision to stop it forever, and there is no reason to ever reconsider this decision. But I haven’t realized until now that waiting for the Facebook audience to appreciate deep thought is my brain’s malfunction. Social media is not for thinking.

Next thing, I went to the links of bloggers and thinkers I have saved for myself to read. Usually, those are long reads. Sometimes they are short and deep. I felt relief like a non-smoking person would after walking out of a place full of smokers with a dense curtain of poison in the air.

If I don’t expect someone to share deep content in a Facebook post (most of those people simply don’t have that account), why do I expect someone to read mine?

I don’t say that my content comes from a higher intelligence than any of my friends on Facebook. But I do say that Facebook is not a forum for thinkers. I can only reserve it for the marketing materials I will produce. Because it is a marketplace for shallow information and quick wins, just like casino slot machine rows.

Millions of lonely people scroll for useless information, and awareness itself feels like the only real jackpot.

  • When AI becomes your enemy

It took me months to teach my students to use AI for batch production, brainstorming, writing.

It might take me ages to unteach them.

AI is very important time saving tool. I thank God for the opportunity to live in the era when AI is born and became massively used. But overreliance on it robs us of skills to think, formulate thoughts and grow our personalities.

In this sense it becomes our enemy.

Allan Karr in his book about quitting smoking writes that smokers consider cigarettes their friends.

“This is my friend for life” – my husband exclaimed when I confronted him about smoking 20 years ago.

The word “friend” was bolt from the sky. In one word there was the whole philosophy of life. And cigarette had it’s own pedestal.

In upcoming years many people will place AI on the same pedestal. That is when it becomes our enemy. Not the opened one. But in disguise of friend. Just like cigarets for many.

What’s the danger apart of the AI Earth takeover?

A total braintakover like the zombie-ant-fungus.

This fungus takes control of an insect’s nervous system, forces it to move to an ideal location for the fungus, and then kills the host, releasing spores to infect more insects.

Fungus kills the ants physically. I think AI will be smarter, keeping the host physically existent. if we look at existence from the perspective of Descartes.*

Thinking is a skill, that vanishes just like the muscle of 50 years olds if they don’t excersize intentionally. Use it or lose it.

    Is there a solution?

If the gym and strategic control of physical activity is the solution to seditary lifestyle that kills most of the worlds city population these days, then there is a similar solution to suppress the downsides of today’s technological advancement.

Back in the days of industrial revolution people were panicking that cars were becoming the main transport. Some were insisting in using horses by all means untill it was nearly impossible. Today horses are only used for tourist trips in the cities creating a huge discomfort to the traffic. And therefore mainly allowed in parks and historical sites.

No one could stop cars. No one will stop AI. What we can do is to create gyms for brains. That’s why I joined the blogging people and advance into authoring books. I found solution for myself so that I don’t get extinguished by the friend, which can easily turn into an enemy.

  • The Day I Quitted Scrolling

Yesterday deleted the Facebook app from my phone to stop scrolling and wasting my time. Noticed that scrolling was like a slot machine, where I get dopamine from the expectation of the novelty. Expectation. That is counter productive because I have never been satisfied with this activity. Losing at times 7 hours of my time on it. Including watching interesting unplanned videos on YouTube.

I don’t want it anymore. I realized that there is nothing that I win with it. Nothing. I need a conscize review of current affairs. I can do it once a week following checked and reliable sourses. I don’t need daily presence online. I can keep my pages in perfect activity through batch publishing. I don’t know why would I want the social media anymore.

The downsides of being addicted to it from the other side have caused me productivity. I have not produced the products and projects that I wanted and with the speed I wanted due to this addiction. I was afraid to miss out on something and not being relevant enough to serve my audience and create positive influence. But staying in social media did not make me niether relevant nor I have made any positive influence.

Today I feel happy. Happy that I am free. Few times I have taken the phone responding to the impulse to scroll, but immediately remembered my decision to quit scrolling once and for all. It is a principle. I don’t scroll because of how the social media work today. Advertisement, low value content, out of the context.

  • I use AI to transform my life

I use AI to transform my life. Not because it makes my life easier and creates more comfort, but because it helps me to get the best out of myself. And that is not comfortable.

I started working with AI daily in 2023. It was ChatGPT and I was amazed how it helped me to do research and organise data.

Firstly, I used it to brainstorm product ideas, get information on topics I needed for my projects.

Later, I have figured out that AI can go as deep as my questions will be. So I started employing it to work on my shortcomings.

I started asking why some things didn’t work in my projects, why I couldn’t do some things I wanted to, what caused me having issues in relationships, what was the mechanism behind complicated situations, and on, and on, and on.

What I understand now is that AI reflects us. What do you think of it? It is useless? Stupid? Or maybe that is you who can’t figure out and formulate your thoughts? Shallow questions lead to shallow answers.

I understood that I urgently had to develop my written and spoken communication skills. I needed to learn to express my thoughts, hold sequences of questions in my mind, keep the focus on the goal of discussion to get the result I wanted.

By now I have been able to resolve half of the issues I was dealing with. When it was very complicated I used to book therapy sessions. I have noticed that I haven’t done it for quite a while.

Using ChatGPT to educate myself and investigate my actions, chains of thoughts, reactions and triggers have given me a lot of freedom.

It is all about us not ChatGPT. If we are opened to explore ourselves and the world around us, AI will be like a Library where you could get any information you want just by saying it (I am using the audio function a lot). If we want to be lazy and make AI just complete tasks instead of us, it is going to harm us.

That’s the experience I have got with AI so far.

Also teaching people to do the same on my programs.

I transform myself using AI and hope people who learn from me do the same.

    The transformation starts with ourselves.

  • It is going to be very easy to stand out in the AI world as a creator if you use your own skill to write & do public speaking

  • You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end—which you can never afford to lose—with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.

    Admiral Jim Stockdale

  • If you can see it, you can do it

  • All catastrophies we witness these days show us that we can’t rely on visible things

  • Why things don’t work out

When the things do not work out you should rejoice. Not because you are delusional. And you don’t see the reality, that, despite all your efforts, things are not working out. But because thanks to you ability to see the fact that things are breaking apart, you can improve dramatically.

What if you would know exactly those things that you need to change to achieve results you aspire?

One or two blind spots. That one thing You don’t see but it is a stumbling stone, and it’s very easy to correct by taking it out of the way.

Would you want to know those blind spots? Would you want to instantly have a key to open the door to your success?

Without getting into situation when things are not going the way you thought they would, we are staying on the plateau of what we have already achieved. We can’t improve. We can’t grow. We can’t change anything.

But when this frustration builds up… This feeling that is eating you from inside keeps you awake at night.. The one you can’t pinpoint it. When this happens, you have got a lucky lottery ticket.

    That is the pivotal point!

You have to find it. Because that’s the key!

It will open the door if you only not stop there.

I don’t remember, to be honest, how many times I’ve been in this frustration. Ready to give up. It would be easier to just acknowledge that things didn’t work out, acknowledge that i was not good enough to make things work, and just walk away. Maybe find something new and more interesting to play with.

This time I stayed. I stayed because I’m too ambitious to just give up.

I didn’t always stay. I remember many projects where I only stayed till the moment I had no more energy to move forward.

    But not now.

Today I have experience. And I know that if I walk away from this opportunity I will have to go all the way again to stumble upon this presious stone that changes me now.

I am not going to change my trajectory now. The u-turn is not allowed here. Only forward. With pauses. With frustration. And with faith.

I know that I am not good enough because that’s the point to grow. Sometimes people are afraid to acknowledge that they have the room to improve. That is why growth is impossible for them.

There is no need to run from the fact that things don’t go the way we expected. We don’t need to escape the feeling of being lacking something.

    Just acknowledge:

    • – I lack experience
    • – I don’t have some knowledge yet
    • – I don’t have skills to apply what I have learned so far.
    • – and I am ok!

I rejoice. I rejoice that things are not working out, but I’m still alive, I still move forward, and I will make this thing work. This is my pivotal moment I was waiting for. Bring it on!

  • Many people are focused on views, followers, likes, leads and clients, forgetting to focus on the quality of their product
